Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Support Staff member to join our vibrant pub team. As a Support Staff member, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the pub staff in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service. Assist with taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns promptly.

Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and tidy pub environment by regularly cleaning tables, bar areas, and other customer areas. Ensure that glasses, utensils, and other items are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards. Restock supplies as needed.

Support Pub Staff: Assist the pub staff in various tasks such as restocking inventory, preparing ingredients, and organizing storage areas. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and maintain effective communication throughout service hours.

Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments, providing change, and balancing cash registers at the end of shifts. Adhere to the pub's cash handling policies and procedures.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including food handling, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. Monitor the pub area for potential hazards and report any safety concerns to the management immediately.

Teamwork: Foster a positive and cooperative work environment by collaborating with other pub staff members. Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth coordination during busy periods and events.

Events Support: Assist with organizing and executing pub events, such as live music performances, themed nights, or special promotions. Help with event setup, decoration, and logistics as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service principles and practices is desirable.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items (e.g., kegs, boxes).
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour
