**The Role**
We are looking for you to take on the role of GSC Launch Lead based out of our Oshawa Assembly Plant. In this role, you will be a liaison to the Plant Material Director and the Plant Launch Operations Manager. You will be responsible to provide operational focus to the launch team.
**What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)**
- Develop and maintain material DLOC (Delivery Location), footprint and flow for in-plant functional evaluation builds and manufacturing validation, through acceleration.
- Responsible for developing Master Dot Plan For Every Part & action item list including completeness of SCPP ( Supply Chain Part Planning) database:
- _Line side presentation and delivery; _
- _Storage location, equipment analysis and manpower; _
- _Banking and service requirements; _
- _CMA, Pre-kitting, Small Lot quantities; _
- _Internal/External Material Flow Plan. _
- Develop and maintain material launch readiness wall
- Conduct Plan for Every Part (PFEP) Validation Checkpoint at the assembly plant at the appropriate timing.
**Coordination**:
- Lead and facilitate the daily launch conference calls to execute quick resolution of all issue involving, supplier quality or capacity issues, container issues, transportation issues, GM schedule to supplier issues.
- Present Supply Chain PQRR ( Program Quality Readiness Review) Status - present material flow status at PQRRs.
- Lead Material Launch Readiness Team (MRLT) with cross-functional members to provide information, direction and establish priorities during each phase of the program cycle.
- Coordinate supply chain execution plan for intercontinental suppliers (including, container, logistics, 3rd party storage, and scheduling systems capability).
- Responsible for ensuring functional inputs into SCPP are done per master dot timings
- Coordinate Supply Chain input into the Supplier Conference
- Select, Supervise, and Coordinate the activities of the Plant Material Launch Coordinator’s and any bargaining unit support.
- Complete hand-off of operation responsibilities to the Plant Material Organization.
- Define Plant indirect material flow process (i.e., General Store's requirements, SPO, etc.).
- Track plant pre-production budget.
- Assist in coordinating the no hit/multi hit paper build process at assembly plant.
- Provide Material input into Production Launch Team Workshop (B22, E10)

**Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)**
- Bachelor’s degree in Global Supply Chain, Logistics or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Materials in the materials / logistic area
- Demonstrated experience leading a team
- Proven desire and ability to lead and coach performance of direct reports
- Demonstrates initiative by reaching beyond work assigned to improve output and/or help others
- Demonstrates excellent level of analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issues
- Proven ability in project management skills and ability to teach others
- Demonstrated program execution experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments with highest level of autonomy and accountability for results
- High level of problem solving and issue resolution aptitude
- Proven team builder and Execution leader
**What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)**
- Experience with 3rd Party and VAA’s (Value Added Assembler), knowledge of contracts
- Experience with Material Global Optimization (MGO), Parts Not On Contract (PNOC), logistics and containerization
