Subcontractor: Drywaller

Are you an experienced and skilled Drywaller with Steel Stud Framing experience seeking subcontractor opportunities?

51 North Interiors has been creating interior spaces in Calgary since 2010, providing services with a high level of quality and craftmanship. We are seeking a skilled Drywaller with Steel Stud Framing experience to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow directions provided by Foreman or Superintendent
- Install light gauge and heavy gauge steel framing (exterior walls, interior walls, floors etc.)
- Install drop ceiling systems
- Installation of T-bar grid and tiles
- Installation of drywall
- Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Coordinate with multiple people including clients, builders, architects and other employees
- Ensure scope of work is being completed efficiently and according to company standards
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Train apprentices and prospective employees

**Requirements**:

- WCB/Liability for sub-contractors _- is an asset but not required_
- Must have proper PPE
- Minimum of 2 years’ work experience installing drywall and framing
- Proficient in using hand and power tools required for the job
- Own tools to perform all aspects of work is required
- Must be punctual and have own means of transportation
- Physically able to lift heavy tools and materials
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
