Reporting to the Facilities & Services Manager, the Coordinator is a key member of the Edmonton Refinery Maintenance Team responsible for the coordination, monitoring, auditing and direct interaction with Suncor and contractor craft specific personnel on a daily basis to ensure that work is done in accordance with contract terms and that the safety of Suncor and contract employees is not compromised.

Minimum Requirements:

- Three to five years of refinery experience
- An Electrical Trade disciplined background
- A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide coordination of hourly and contract craftsmen employed in the repair, adjustment, modification, removal and/or installation of plant equipment and facilities to ensure the work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Act as single point of contact with contractors and monitor contractor performance management daily
- Closely supports and coordinate contractors that are not onsite on a regular basis
- Ensure incidents are managed as per the Edmonton Refinery Incident Learning and Prevention Governance Process
- Complete safety audits; participate in and promote safety initiatives
- Assist with Management of EDMR maintenance contractors - safety, manpower planning and logistics

Location and other Key Details:

- You will work out of our Edmonton refinery in Sherwood Park, located at 801 Petroleum Way- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
