Cage Supervisor/Relief Gaming Manager

**Position Summary**:
Cage Supervisors and Relief Gaming Managers are the face of the Chances Maple Ridge Cage and Guest Service Team. They are detail oriented and passionate about exceeding the needs and expectations of each and every guest.

Under the lead of our Gaming Management team, the Cage Supervisor will be responsible for distributing, verifying, and reconciling floats, and completing large cash transactions. As well, Cage Supervisors also play a vital role in monitoring the day-to-day operations of our cage and activities of our Cashiers.

**Duties and Responsibilities Include**:

- Monitoring the Cage team; providing input for team member performance evaluations and objectives
- Verifying or completing large cash transactions
- Documenting and reconciling cash and cash equivalents; providing related reports
- Monitoring and reporting all discrepancies and suspicious cash activities
- Responding to, resolving, or escalating Cage issues
- Communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Building strong working relationships with our internal and external guests
- Complying with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
- Performing other duties as assigned or directed
- Awesome guest service skills with a “Make it Happen” attitude combined with a continual drive for achieving service excellence
- An understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and guests

- Minimum 1 year of experience in high volume cash handling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with Computer literacy in MS Office
- Possess a high level of honesty and integrity
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Possess or willing to obtain a Serving It Right Certification
- Ability to maintain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)

- Regular casino and cage environment, standing or sitting for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours
