Shop Manager

Leduc, Canada Strathcona Mechanical LTD Full time

Strathcona Mechanical Ltd is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Shop Manager at our Leduc location. This position will be focused on performing a variety of manual tasks to ensure smooth branch operation.

**Duties include but are not limited**:

- Preparing, loading and unloading equipment, material and tools.
- General shop duties with hand and power tools.
- Swapping out cylinders
- Provide assistance to both in shop and on site personnel.
- Repairing tools
- Receiving and stocking material
- Arranging large and small deliveries with shipping companies.
- Travel to and from site
- Other general labor duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Class 5 Drivers License
- Clean Drivers Abstract required.
- Physically fit and capable of working in all weather conditions.
- Capable of lifting 50lb
- Effective communication, multi-tasking and strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Proficient in English
- Steel toed boots required
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Computer proficiency preferred
- Forklift experience considered a strong asset but not required.
