**HR Analyst Job Posting**

McConnell HR Consulting Inc. (MHRC) is seeking a full-time HR Analyst to join our small team of HR Consultants.

**About Us**:
MHRC is a boutique Human Resources Management consulting firm providing Human Resources Strategy, Compensation, Organization Design, and general HR Management guidance and direction to clients.

We work with small to medium-sized organizations in the public, private and non-profit sectors, primarily in Ontario and the Caribbean. We focus on building and maintaining special relationships with our clients, providing value, and improving the client’s condition.

**A Day in the Life**:
As a key contributor to our project delivery team, you will provide support in the various phases of client mandates. You will be responsible for:

- Supporting HR consultants in Compensation, Organizational Design, HR Strategy, and general HR management.
- Performing complex assignments in the areas of compensation, including statistical, trend, and data analysis.
- Conducting job evaluation, performing external job matching, and developing/distributing custom salary surveys.
- Gathering and analyzing salary and benefits data, developing salary ranges, and preparing statistical reports.
- Maintaining the firm’s internal compensation and benefits database.
- Conducting research and analysis to identify HR best practices; using this data to support the ongoing improvement of MHRC’s approach and methodologies.
- Writing and preparing formal HR-related content, including reports, policies, job descriptions, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Supporting HR Consultants on other related projects.

As an HR Analyst, you will have the opportunity to develop your HR knowledge and skills and take on increasing accountabilities. This position is intended to be a stepping-stone into an HR consultant role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (mandatory).
- Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources (preferred).
- One-three years relevant HR experience.
- Strong quantitative skills and a genuine interest in data analysis.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office 360 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to learn quickly, embrace change, focus on detail, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced multi-client / multi-project environment.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude and a sense of humour.
- Legally able to work in Canada.
