**What is Required for the Position**
- Minimum 10 years construction experience with 5 years open cut experience.
- 3 plus years foreman experience
- Understanding of trenchless technology and open cut work for linear civil construction in the sewer and watermain sector
- Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, online
- Demonstrated commitment to your team and the aims and goals of the company
- Keen sense of foresight and versatility and a track record for creative problem solving
- Excellent oral and written skills a must.
- You embrace new technology and are proficient computers/programs,

**The Job**

As an Earth Boring Foreman you will have a strong background in open cut excavation projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. As the Crew Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of open cut functions, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with the project scope. You have a winning attitude and demonstrated success in developing solutions to tough and challenging problems. You are an outstanding communicator, with a strong, well developed production focused approach to safely delivering the work.

**The Tasks**
- Lead and manage a crew engaged in open cut excavation projects for sewer and watermain installations.
- Coordinate and schedule daily activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of equipment, ensuring that all machinery is in good working order.
- Coordinate equipment mobilization and demobilization for each project.
- You are adept at identifying talent and recruiting labour and operator resources to support project needs.
- Maintain a written daily electronic log of visitors, job actions performed, materials expended, and problems resolved on the job site.
- Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as necessary.
- Set an example in keeping the job site organized and clean, including meeting standards for waste disposal and environmental protection.
- Communicate on progress and issues on project job sites on daily basis to senior management.
- Provide troubleshooting and deliver meaningful solutions to complex trenchless and open cut problems.
- Detail oriented and constantly looking at ways to improve the process and maximize production efficiencies.
- You seek to add value to the works, and innovate solutions to make processes efficient, safer reliable, sustainable and more productive
