**Banquet Servers**
- Provide assistance to Wedding and Event Coordinator/Food & Beverage Manager in the serving of guests during special event functions to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Set up banquet room as requested to include glassware, silverware, linen etc.
- Attend roll call meetings before events kick off in order to learn function particulars, including member and guest expectations.
- Greet and welcome guests and respond to their requests in a courteous and friendly manner
- Serve the beverage and food in the appropriate order so as to ensure consistency throughout the event.
- Quickly remove dishes as guests finish each meal at the end of each course.
- Abide by all corporate acts, laws and requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
- Replenish beverages when necessary, and check with guests to make sure they are satisfied.
- After the banquet, reset the banquet room in accordance with the Manager’s specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for other events.
- Follow attendance rules and always go to work on a regular basis.
- Perform other related functions that may be assigned.

**Requirements - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Must be able to read and understand simple instructions, memos and short correspondence.
- Must be able to respond to inquiries from members and guests.
- Must be able to do simple mathematical calculations.
- Must be able to make independent decisions.

**Hours**:
Must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends, late nights, early mornings and holidays. Shifts will vary based on business levels. Seasonal position starting May 1, 2023.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months
Part-time hours: 9-25 per week

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour
