**Position Summary**:
This is an onsite opportunity reporting to NWR’s Controller, the Treasury Analyst is responsible for cash and bank account management and reporting, credit, banking and commercial contract review and compliance, covenant compliance and reporting, marketing analysis (including pricing analysis) as well as financial reporting and ad-hoc finance projects supporting the operations of the Sturgeon Refinery. The Treasury Analyst works with the Treasury Coordinator to plan and deliver a financially prudent and efficient debt management program for the North West Redwater Partnership.
**Responsibilities**:
- Primary for supporting the execution of the Partnership’s Debt Financing Plan, including but not limited to: day to day cash management, banking activities and financial analysis; coordination of Partnership and stakeholder cash management services consisting of review and management of trust accounts and overall banking structure. This includes review of automated clearing house transactions, controlled disbursement services, treasury, depository, overdraft and electronic funds transfer services, foreign exchange facilities, currency exchange transactions or agreements and options with respect thereto;
- Assist in debt financing preparation and supporting issuances of bonds, credit facilities and commercial paper;
- Prepare and monitor compliance documentation on a regular basis and provide timely reporting to both internal and external stakeholders;
- Provide biweekly cash forecasts to Tollpayers for Monthly Cost of Service Toll, including reconciliation between forecasted and actual amounts, and reviewing cash balances and reporting;
- Support Corporate Accounting with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting;
- Liaise with the Accounting, Finance and Marketing teams to ensure cross-functional co-operation for adequate coverage;
- Continuously develop, maintain and improve treasury management software and reporting tools to improve treasury reporting and facilitate efficiencies;
- All other duties as assigned.
