Casual Cleaners perform general and specific duties in assigned areas in accordance with Cleaning Services Department standards of policies and procedures.

The primary responsibilities include:

- Various cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, disinfecting, and washing various areas
- Removing recyclables and garbage/waste
- Maintaining supplies and equipment in multiple areas including washrooms

**Job Qualifications**:
Physical requirements of the position include repetitive and heavy lifting or carrying, large-volume garbage removal, standing and walking for long periods of time, public washroom cleaning, and heavy-volume cleaning including vacuuming and mopping for extensive periods of time. Other requirements include the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently to understand verbal work orders.
