Eaton’s ES AMER PCS CA division is currently seeking a Electro Mechanical Assembler.

**What you’ll do**:

- Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently recruiting for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This position is based at the Winnipeg, Manitoba facility and will be working on day shift.
- **Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible to have a thorough knowledge of all standard Panelboard, Control Product and some custom product assemblies and all related materials required to complete the assembly.
- This role is located at one of our Eaton Satellite locations (6 in total), which are located across Canada and comprise of smaller assemble-to-order facilities and complement our medium to large manufacturing facilities within Canada.

- **In this function you will**:

- Work to standard operating procedures, bill of materials, manufacturing information, and instruction from Management or Engineering to established procedures
- Responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly by conducting Inspection for conformance to drawings and specifications, functional operation and appearance and making mechanical adjustments as needed
- Perform pack and ship duties
- Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S
- Assist team in achieving plant and department goals
- Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement
- Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork

**Qualifications**
- Grade 12 diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
- No relocation provided.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
