Shop Janitor

**Job description**

Kingsville Stamping was founded in 1986 the company started with one 30-ton press and has since grown to an 21-presses, 3000-ton capable operation. Kingsville Stamping is a well-equipped production facility that is supported by engineering, maintenance, tooling, welding/assembly, and repair/rebuild. Our employees are the foundation for our high industry standards in regards to quality, reliability, flexibility, and on-time delivery. Our major produces are for Ford, GM and FCA's pickup truck auto parts as a tier 2 automotive company.

We are looking for **Shop Janitor-** 1 position

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
1. Previous Janitorial working experience

2. Must run Lift truck to dump bins.

3. Be able to maintain good housekeeping practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, drive Zamboni for floor maintenance and lift truck for garbage/scrap dumping
- Sanitize and clean all washrooms and lunchroom.
- Empty trash, recycling.
- Make sure all surface and equipment is clean and meets all safety requirements.
- Spilt action and clean the floor as per OHSA spilt action policy

**40 hours a week**

**Starting Monday, March 6**

**Starting Salary $18.25/hr**

Minimum requirements:

- Valid Driver’s license
- Knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, equipment, occupational hazards and safety precautions of metal press shop floor maintenance.
- Must be motivated to learn new skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, must also be able to lift, bend, stand, push, pull, squat, and use arms and hands; must be able to work in a factory or outdoor settings.

Desired Qualifications:

- Must have a previous cleaning experience at least three months.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
