**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensuring complete and accurate data is entered into various spreadsheets.
- Comparing paperwork accuracy when receiving from warehouse
- Providing administrative support for the Traffic dept, and warehouse
- Container tracking via closing/updating runs with correct containers.
- Proactively communicate with external & internal customers and resolve issues as they arise or escalate to the appropriate individual when necessary.
- Investigate, verify, and resolve any discrepancies between shipping documents including, but not limited to, BOLS and carrier confirmations.
- Coordinate high volumes of documentation within tight timelines, review open shipping documents and ensure timely processing of closing transactions.
- Track the flow of shipments.
- Administrative tasks as assigned.
- Communicate with trucking companies to ensure smooth delivery of freight in a timely manner.
- Ensure that drivers have correct and necessary paperwork/may involve receiving the truck & container at the front gate.
- Identify problems proactively and develop creative and efficient solutions.
- Processing shipping documents, including bills of lading.
- Extensive experience in processing shipping documents, orders
- Superb time management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Great problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent Attendance Record
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Ensures work performance objectives are met daily.
- Coordinates deliveries with internal and external truckers and steamship lines.
- Receive updates from trucking operations on progress of picking up containers, and communicate any problems with equipment, free time, or any other problems.
- Confer with department supervisors and others, as necessary.
- Track and trace import and export shipments for your assigned clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
- 1-2 years Logistics Experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (Fluent in English)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong professionalism and customer service skills
- Experience with multi-tasking
- High attention to detail; Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel required.
- SAP knowledge is an asset.
- PRIMA knowledge is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
