Security Guard

**INTRODUCTION**:
Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1925 on a mandate that prioritizes providing meaningful employment for veterans and others committed to the well being of Canadians primarily in security guard and related services. Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services.

We are currently seeking a **Commissionaire **to join our growing team.

**WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR**:

- Ensure access control is followed and client property is secured.
- Monitor CCTV cameras
- Conduct extensive patrols.
- Respond to emergencies.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and deportment.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional working relationship with employees, visitors, and clients.
- Complete the site reporting requirements, and written reports when required.
- Other duties as may be required by the client.

**WE ARE EXCITED FOR YOU TO OFFER US**:

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma
- **MUST* **have Ontario Security Guard License
- **MUST* **have Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
- Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time
- The ability to stand for long periods of time and complete patrols.
- Strong understanding of computers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to make quick and sound decisions.
- Customer service/reception skills

**WHAT THE JOB OFFERS YOU**:
Job type: Part Time

Hourly Rate of Pay: $18.88

Hours of work: 0000 to 1200

Shifts: Saturday and Sunday

Location: 1495 Muskoka Road North, Gravenhurst, ON P1P 1R8
