Metrologist / Calibration Technician

Our activity fields are in electrical, dimensional, mechanical, thermodynamic, frequency, time, photometric and radiometric metrology.
**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Calibrate and generate calibration reports for measuring or generating instruments electrical disciplines
- Maintain secondary and/or working calibration standards.
- Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of precision equipment.
- Identify out-of-specification conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, etc.
- Prepare measurement uncertainty budgets.
- Adapt existing calibration equipment, standards, and techniques to accomplish unique measurement tasks for which they are not principally used.
- Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- Engineering, science degree or equivalent combination of education or experience (e.g., engineering technologist/technician or recent related experience
- Must possess good written and oral, communication skills.
- Basic ability to troubleshoot repair, align and optimize precision equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficient in use of MS Word and Excel.
- Must have very good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to details.
- Must be a self-motivated, work as a team player, and follow written procedures.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
