Jim Pattison Collision & Glass has a new opportunity for a Body Shop Estimator to join our team

**Overview**:
Reporting to the Body Shop Manager, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional and successful customer experience while consistently completing accurate collision appraisals of the damages for insurance and customer vehicles. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring each appraisal accurately outlines the required repairs to ensure a profitable and quality repair while working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facilities KPI’s.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining a friendly demeanor while performing duties around the body shop.
- Examine and accurately estimate vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, refinish, and interior damage.
- Complete the needed paper work for MPI.
- Identify and document all required work correctly. Take pictures of the affected areas and what needs to be done.
- Accurately verify the information and complete estimates in a timely manner.
- Clear communication between dealership and clients.
- Ensure proper documentation and paperwork are completed and uploaded.
- Keep your work areas clean and tidy.
- Keeping up-to-date on the technical bulletins and procedures.

Keeping abreast of federal and provincial regulations and municipal bylaws governing the removal of hazardous waste, safety, etc.; understands and observes them.
Attend Collision shop meetings, participate in meetings
- Adhere to policies and procedures.
