Beretta Farms is looking for the right individual to join our Production Team in our Beef/Bison processing facility in Lacombe, AB

**Position Overview**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for pre-shift set-up
- Completes and maintain daily reports, documents, and checklists.
- Actively participates in group meetings, line meetings, and manager meetings.
- Works with the Quality control department to ensure product quality & food safety in terms of SOP’s and GMP’s and follow HACCP program.
- Ensures staff are wearing appropriate PPE for their position.
- Maintains healthy and respectful communication with fellow staff members and stakeholders.
- Creates a positive work environment.
- Ensures efficiency on the production line in terms of yields, dressing and downtime.
- Makes health and safety a top priority.
- Provides mentorship and guidance to team members.
- Willingness to learn.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Job Requirements**
- High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Valid driver’s license, with clean driving record.
- PAL an asset.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**
- Excellent time-management.
- Quickly adapts to changing priorities.
- Clear communication and decision-making skills.
- Good understanding and ability to troubleshoot carcass dressing.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Knowledge of operational equipment for processing plant equipment, and services ordering and inventory control.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Skid steer and forklift experience.
- Must be in good physical condition with the ability to work at heights and able to lift/move (up to 50 lbs.), bend, push, pull, walk, and stand for long periods of time.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
