Construction Technician

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a wide variety of tasks to a very high standard. You will play a crucial part in supporting construction projects by providing our customers with elite level finished product all set on a sturdy foundation.

**Duties**
- Operating Mini Excavators, Skid Steers, and Track Loaders.
- Hand shovel and rake.
- Carry and install interlock paving stones.
- Set Retaining walls.
- Grade lawns and lay sod.
- Plant trees, shrubs, hedges and flowers.
- Take loads of fill away in dump trucks or dump trailers.
- Getting aggregate from local quarries in the dump truck or trailers.
- Build Fences, Decks, Stairs, Pergolas, Gazebos, sheds, and bunkies.

**Auxiliary tasks may also include**:

- Landscape Lighting.
- Gad lit fire pits and torches.
- Helical Pile installation.
- Water features.
- Irrigation systems.

**Skills**:

- Knowledge and ability to operate machines, trucks, trailers.
- Background in some form of construction.
- Basic knowledge and ability to use all hand tools and equipment.
- Ability to take direction and quickly learn new tasks.
- AZ, DZ, or A-restricted licences are an asset for this position.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
