Recruitment Associate - French & English

Company Overview:
Since it was established in 1965, Domus has grown to become one of the most respected cleaning companies in Ottawa, with particular focus on professionalism, quality, accountability, and transparency. Since 2020, Domus is now part of the Alpine Building Maintenance company.

Job Overview:
Competitive Salary range of $60,000-$65,000/Year depending on level of experience. Eligible for an annual bonus as well.

Must have 10 years Canadian Residency and the capability to achieve or already have a ‘Secret’ level Canadian clearance

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
- Work with Zoho ATS ( applicant tracking system )

Helping put together and completing on-boarding packages for regular employees and for the more complicated hiring paths that include positions with Canadian Security Clearance requirements
- Coordinate and schedule interviews for the various Operations Managers and Supervisors as needed
- Provide weekly updates to Operations and hiring managers on the status of the recruitment process for open, filled, in-pipeline positions.
- Other duties as may be required

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Fluency in oral and written French and English is a must.
- CHRP would be considered an asset
- Bachelor’s degree, or diploma in related field is considered an asset
- 1 to 2 years as a talent acquisition specialist
- Strong understanding of recruitment techniques and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently with mínimal supervision
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Reliable transportation to various sites required

Working Conditions:
This role requires work at the company Head Office or at various locations throughout Ottawa, and occasionally other city locations in Ontario to conduct investigations, provide coaching/support, and facilitate learning. This position generally works Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm Eastern time but may occasionally require some additional hours on evenings and weekends as needed.
