With the imminent transition to our new location, our IT department will play a pivotal role, necessitating additional support to ensure a smooth and successful migration. To effectively manage this transition and maintain operational efficiency, we are seeking a highly motivated Support Technician to join our IT team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including imaging systems, providing equipment, and setting up proper account access.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for IT policies and processes.
- Manage, and organize IT hardware, equipment, software, and licenses.
- Provide helpdesk support for desktops, workstations, and IT equipment issues.
- Assist the system administrator with backup/restore, business continuity, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Assist with software and security upgrades as required.
- Perform duties in the office environment.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in IT or related field.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft 365 suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ambitious and highly self-motivated, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Flexible, hands-on approach to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and collaborative environment.
- Solid knowledge of computer hardware.
- Familiarity with networking concepts.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and technology.

**Bonus Points**:

- 1-2 years of working experience in IT or related roles.
- Experience with Linux in a working environment.
- Working experience with writing scripts.
- Home lab setup environment.
