Facility Helper

**Job description**
- Janitorial maintenance
- help with maintenance of equipment
- Cleaning offices, bathrooms, kitchen, and commons areas
- General building maintenance
- Grounds maintenance
- equipment and tools maintenance,
- Assist in snow plowing, snow-blowing, shoveling, and ensuring safe walkways
- Other tasks may be assigned

Contributions/Outcomes:
This position maintains the shop in good condition and ensures a clean and safe environment for all occupants and visitors. The facilities assistant will identify maintenance issues and work as part of a team to correct the issues.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

- Experience in maintenance, janitorial.
- Self-motivated individual with ability to manage his/her work load and shift priorities as necessary
- Exhibits good judgment, self-confidence, cool headedness, and common sense
- Must demonstrate competency using and maintaining hand tools and power tools
- High School diploma or GED preferred.

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
