Teacher on Wheels is a mobile K-12 tutoring service which fosters academic excellence and personal growth using a humanistic approach. The position requires:
*Commitment to ongoing professional development and openness to feedback - Mentorship Coaching is available to all tutors

*Emotional maturity, reliability, and professionalism

*Flexibility, sensitivity, and responsiveness to the needs of students, parents, and administration

*Attention to detail and ability to submit session reports in a timely manner

*Passion for teaching and mentoring students

*Expertise with BC high school Math/Science/English curricula

*Minimum education level of Bachelor's Degree (must be completed). BC Teaching Certification and graduate degrees (Masters or PhD) are an asset.

*Ability to travel to students' homes in Vancouver or Burnaby (vehicle strongly preferred)

*Willingness to sign a non-compete agreement (no self-advertisement)

*Ability to commit to a weekly schedule in the 2024-2025 school year

*Clean police information check - vulnerable sector

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Freelance

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 5 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
