**About the Position**

As an Inside Sales Associate, you will engage in a variety of tasks including project management, strategic planning, relationship management, negotiation, and consultative selling as outline by the Team Lead.

**Responsibilities**:
The Inside Sales Associate key responsibilities are:

- To fulfill inbound order enquiries under the direction of the Team Lead
- To provide exceptional customer service to support existing clients
- To ensure immediate and future procurement needs are met.
- Under the direction of the Team Lead, identify new business opportunities to assist in the growth of the companies private labelled and partner brands. This will include sourcing and qualifying any potential customers.
- To identify trendsetting ideas by researching industry related events, publications, and announcements.
- To participate in vendor training programs to further enhance product knowledge.
- To participate in company promotions and events, including trade shows.
- In conjunction with the Team Lead work alongside the Executive Sales team to develop new strategies & ideas to accelerate customer growth.
- To work closely with the Product development team to support the growth of new and innovative products.

**Experience**:

- 5+ years of progressive experience in a similar Client-facing role, within the construction and/or building supplies industry.
- Post-secondary education from an accredited institution (significant sales experience, in lieu of education will be considered
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills.
- Strong customer service experience, coupled with a positive, professional attitude.
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet set deadlines.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills

**Interpersonal Skills & Abilities**:

- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to manage customer concerns in a professional manner.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills in managing multiple priorities with overlapping tasks across multiple locations.
