**Job Overview**

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in accordance with PMI standards and guidelines over the entire project.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Gathers information from Technical Leads and Sales Leads
- Lead assigned projects to completion on-time, within scope and within budget
- Manages project planning: Develop individual project plans complete with budgetary information and resource needs, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring the project meets the intended objectives
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Refine project budget as needed to ensure timeliness and fiscal responsibility.
- Track and manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification actions and pass information onto all team members/stakeholders.
- Provide business and technical teams with feedback and advice.
- Address problems that arise during projects, maintain accurate project deficiency and issue tracking logs.
- Host project meetings, steering committee updates at regular intervals for each assigned project.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed.
- Through your co-ordination and planning efforts, make it easier for the project team to focus on the on-budget and on-time delivery of projects.
- Communicate project objectives to all team members involved.
- Communicate with business stakeholders and service department regarding resource allocation.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Inform business and technical resources on project delivery process, project kickoff, on-boarding and execution.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities where applicable.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Create communication plans with support of key project stakeholders for each project assigned.
- Work with the business to identify appropriate resources for the development of work instructions and other job aides to supplement projects as required.
- Conduct training/resource needs assessment and upfront gap analysis and evaluation.
- Maintain relevant project documentation and records.

**Required Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or business-related discipline preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
- 5+ years of relevant Project Management experience (technical project experience preferred)
- Be familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies
- Ability to complete projects on time and within the stated budget
- Excellent communication, organization, time-management and leadership skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to quickly earn the trust of peers, project teams and key project stakeholders in order to mobilize and motivate team
- Ability to set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace to senior leadership / key project stakeholders
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.

**Must have skills**:

- Project Management (PMP)
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365, Visio, MS-Project (or equivalent)
- IT infrastructure, RF or telecom project experience an asset
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Valid Drivers license
