Foundry Mold and Coremaker

Tallman is a fully integrated manufacture with in-house computer modeling, casting, machining, welding and assembly operations._

As a foundry mold maker you would be part of a team responsible for molding and casting non-ferrous metals.

Manual sand molding and/or foundry experience is an asset but not required. Training is provided.

Job responsibilities:

- make sand molds using wooden patterns, molding boxes, sand and hand tools
- paint cores with protective coating and bake in oven
- set up casting machines
- prepare dies, top plates and bottom plates
- assist with pouring as required
- perform other duties as assigned

Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00 to 3:30pm. Overtime available.

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.32 per hour

- Burlington, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sand molding: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift License (preferred)
