**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing personal (T1 and Terminal), trust (T3) and non-resident income tax returns.
- Preparing corporate tax returns and financial statements.
- Preparation of regular external filings such as HST and payroll, and completion of routine account analysis and bookkeeping tasks following established processes.
- Preparing notice of objections, clearance certificates and voluntary disclosures.
- Communicating with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) on behalf of our clients.
- Performing preliminary research into tax issues.
- Meeting with clients to discuss the outcome of their tax returns and answering their questions.
- Attending group meetings and learning sessions.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of practical, comprehensive tax and accounting experience.
- Must have prepared a minimum of 400 personal tax returns prepared per year over the last two years.
- Extensive experience preparing a variety of returns for individuals, including student, pensioner, self-employed individuals, and non-residents.
- In depth knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts, solid critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Experience using Intuit Profile is desirable.
- Demonstrate well-developed analytical and research skills, together with attention to detail.
- Be committed to providing exceptional client service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Superior communication skills (both verbally and written).
- Well-organized and able to balance competing demands.
- Professional self-confidence.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $47,503.74-$56,266.26 per year
