Babysitter/nanny

We are located in Kanata Lakes. Both parents are working professionals.

Looking for a Nanny to take care of 2 children, ages 3 and 4.5. The children are in daycare during the day. Other responsibilities include taking care of the house before children are home.

Standard hours would be 2pm to 8pm - 3 to 4 days a week during the week. Occasional weekend.

**Duties**:

- Maintain the house - cleaning floors, bathrooms, childrens laundry
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote their physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Prepare meals and snacks for children
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime.
- Follow established routines and schedules to ensure consistency for the children.
- Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues in a calm and constructive manner.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns that may arise.

**Skills**:

- Caregiving: Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care for children of different ages.
- Experience with Children: Previous experience working with children in a professional or personal capacity.
- Meal Preparation: Proficient in preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children.
- Education: Knowledge of age-appropriate educational activities to engage children's curiosity and promote learning.
- Cleaning: Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean and tidy environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
