Maintenance Supervisor

Hinton Wood Products, a division of West Fraser, is currently seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of:
**MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR**

**Specific responsibilities include**:

- Direct maintenance personnel in carrying out assigned work in a safe and efficient manner with respect to completion, productivity, quality and housekeeping.
- Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled jobs into daily schedules according to manpower, materials, tools and equipment.
- Assist in developing/maintaining a predictive and preventative maintenance program.
- Conduct meetings for safety, labour relations, training, and incident analysis.
- Manage departmental costs to achieve divisional financial goals.
- Responsible for subordinates working in a safe manner and ensuring all mill and regulator policies are followed.
- Proven leadership skills and experience
- Journeyperson certification in a trade
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
- Demonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Desire to progress, learn, grow, and succeed
