- This role requires full time on site presence.- Your roleAs a regional editorial secretary, you will be responsible for overseeing editorial choices, writing and publication of news on the internet (webpage and social media). You will also have to establish the angle of news coverage, write texts, headlines and report primers for radio and television in collaboration with the entire newsroom You will have to prepare live interventions with journalists and you could yourself present journalistic content in radio programs and on the Téléjournal You will have to review with web journalists the texts they intend to publish and ask them to make corrections if necessary. You will report to the Chief Information Officer of our Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean station.Your regular schedule is Friday to Sunday, and you will be given priority for backfill. Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.-
- Five (5) years’ journalism experience or the equivalent.-
- In-depth knowledge of regional, national and international news and current affairs.-
- Extensive general knowledge.-
- Superior spoken and written French.-
- Good knowledge of the other official language, an asset.-
- Solid command of communication techniques specific to each platform.-
- Keen interest in preparing, posting and managing social media content.-
- Thorough knowledge of regional newsroom logistics.-
- Knowledge of production techniques.-
- Knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices.- Other:- Strong ability to organize your workload so as to meet newsroom deadlines.-
- Marked ability to work well in a team. - Interview.-
