Assessment accommodation

**Duties**:

- Conduct literature review and summarize information under different formats.
- Conduct field and lab research with focus on water quality, plant growth, and nitrous oxide gas emission.
- Collect and maintain primary and secondary data.
- Perform statistical analyses of data, present and discuss results.

**Work environment**:
Under supervision, the incumbent will be responsible for conducting water quality research on the topic titled “FALL AND SPRING P AND N PLACEMENT TO REDUCE SNOWMELT NUTRIENT LOSSES AND IMPROVE NUTRIENT USE EFFICIENCY OF CANOLA AND WHEAT.” The incumbent will be based at Saskatoon Research and Development Centre with lab analysis at the University of Saskatchewan.

**Education**:
Currently enrolled or will be enrolled by the date of appointment in a Master’s program at the University of Saskatchewan with specialization in:
Soil Science, water science, plant science, environmental science or related disciplines.

Degree equivalency

**Experience**:
Experience* in soil or water related field or lab work.
- In the context of student recruitment in the Federal Public Service, the experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience, or volunteer activities.
