Surrey, Canada CB Supplies Full time

**CB Supplies is a fast-growing company with multiple locations in Canada and distribution in the US. At our Surrey location we operate as a manufacturer and master distributor of plumbing products.**

The role is an entry-level position, that will work directly with the Manufacturing Manager. This is a terrific opportunity to gain valuable insights and knowledge from administrative functions to people coordination in the essence of our large-scale manufacturing.

The main function of this role is to directly support the Manufacturing Manager and Production operation, and secondly provide additional support to the Manufacturing team.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Verify and track input/output numbers for Production (Extrusion Logs, Releasing Memos, ERP entries/transfers).
- Schedule and track Production’s deliveries (raw materials) and pick-ups (scrap/garbage/recycling).
- Provide PO numbers, itemize PO information, and track PO status for different arms of Production (tooling, maintenance, machine shop, etc).
- Monitor levels of routine Production supplies; keep supervisors’ cabinets and janitor’s cabinets stocked and supply cage inventory accurate.
- Serve as primary HR contact for low-level concerns (hours discrepancies, absence notification, miscellaneous requests).
- Perform interviews and hiring for Production team members.
- Write and distribute in-house memos and signage.
- Collect data from Production and create spreadsheets to track lunch/coffee/clothing/etc orders, weekend overtime scheduling, employee hours and absences, etc.
- Manage digital announcement boards to keep information updated.
- Schedule and facilitate testing (hearing tests, WHMIS, etc), training (forklift, first aid, etc), and on-site events (company sponsored lunches, training seminars, etc).
- Assemble reference materials for use in Production.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Professional attitude with strong organizational skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English;
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as a team;
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Post-Secondary education is preferred;
- Customer Service/Administrative experience is an asset
- Interviewing and Hiring experience is an asset

**Wage & Benefits**:

- Wage is negotiable, based on experience

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
