Sales associate

Ready, Set, Grow Kids Consignment is now hiring for a part-time Sales Associate in Riverview,

NB. We are looking for someone that cares about community and top notch customer service.

A great eye for style is additionally beneficial. This role will include part time sales and

customer service. Part-time hours 10-15 per week. Ability to work a flexible schedule and be

available to fill shifts on short notice.

Objectives of this role
- Deliver exceptional service to our customers that results in repeat visits and long-term

loyalty
- Collaborate with coworkers to achieve store sales goals through suggestive selling and

special promotions
- Maintain a tidy shopping environment and welcoming atmosphere
- Represent the store with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Treat all customers with respect and courtesy

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Answer customer questions and assist with requests
- Execute purchases and returns at the cash register while checking for accuracy
- Sorting of all consignment appointments or drop-offs
- Hanging and sorting of consignment items, including tagging and putting it out on the

floor
- Occasional light cleaning of the store, ensuring the store is presentable, racks and

shelves are neat and tidy, strategically moving items on the floor to increase sales
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner

Required skills and qualifications
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Competent math skills, including an ability to make change accurately
- Friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred skills and qualifications
- Experience in retail sales or customer service
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
