Truck & Trailer Technician

Duties and responsibilities:

- Preventative maintenance on highway tractors and trailers
- Ongoing diagnostic and repair of diesel engines & aftertreatment ( Cummins, Navistar )
- Hydraulic repair
- Commercial Vehicle Inspections
- Interpret work orders
- Attend daily tool box and safety meetings and abide to all company safety regulations

Role specifications
- 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year apprentice and Heavy Equipment Tech required
- CVIP license
- Experience in electrical and engine diagnosing
- Class 1 license is an asset
- Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug test
- Must have own tools
- Meticulous work ethic
- Good communication skills, and problem solving
