**About the Role**:
As the Lead Registered Veterinary Technician, you will:
1. Provide exemplary patient care: Perform veterinary nursing duties with a high level of proficiency, including anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, laboratory procedures, radiology, dentistry, and patient assessments.
2. Lead and mentor the veterinary support team: Provide guidance, training, and support to veterinary technicians and assistants, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and customer service are maintained.
3. Coordinate daily operations: Ensure smooth workflow and efficiency by overseeing patient scheduling, triage, and treatment plans. Optimize resource allocation to meet patient needs effectively.
4. Maintain accurate medical records: Document patient medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes. Ensure records are complete, organized, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
5. Foster a positive team culture: Promote a collaborative and supportive work environment by encouraging teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect among team members. Lead by example and maintain a positive attitude.
We required that you:
- Hold an AHT/VT Diploma from an accredited college
- Have completed the VTNE
- Demonstrate proficiency in technical skills, including surgery and anesthesia
- Have a strong desire to educate and foster solid relationships with clients
- Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
