We are currently seeking an experienced Hydrogeologist to join the Groundwater Team at our Vancouver office. The job will consist of planning and executing hydrogeological and geotechnical drilling investigations, managing groundwater monitoring programs, designing construction dewatering plans, preparing hydrogeological risk assessments for developments, groundwater modeling, groundwater supply feasibility studies, designing groundwater wells and completing aquifer testing (pump testing, slug testing, etc.). Most of our projects are located within the Metro Vancouver area, and working in a remote area is a rare occurrence. The successful applicant will be expected to work independently as well in a team.
- **Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and your own vehicle;**:

- Post-Graduate degree in Hydrogeology or another related field with coursework and/or research in hydrogeology;
- Registration or eligible for registration as a Geoscientist-In-Training (GIT) or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) with EGBC;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hydrogeology, preferably in a consultancy environment;
- Understanding of physical hydrogeology and geology (practical field experience in borehole logging, monitoring well installation, hydraulic testing and analysis is preferred);
- Strong project and time management skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet project goals and deadlines;
- Exceptional communication skills, both in written and oral English;
- Proficiency in technical writing; ability to present, prepare and review reports;
- Ability to interact with stakeholders of technical and non-technical backgrounds in an effective manner;
- Experience with groundwater modeling software (Seep-W, MODFLOW, AquiferTest etc.) is an asset;
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (QGIS, ArcGIS, etc.) is an asset.
