We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. **Duties**:

- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees according to design plans
- Maintain and repair irrigation systems
- Operate power tools and hand tools to complete various landscaping tasks
- Build and install hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Dig trenches for installation of underground utilities
- Assist with the installation of landscape lighting systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify plant diseases or pest infestations
- Provide recommendations for improving the health and appearance of landscapes

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field preferred
- Knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in landscaping
- Ability to operate machinery such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their components
- Understanding of plant care techniques including watering, fertilizing, and pruning
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 2 years (required)
- Build hardscape features: walkways & retaining walls: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
- Spanish (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
