Pipefitter/steamfitter

**Job description**

**Are you interested in working as a Pipefitter/Steamfitter in the GTA?**

**YOUR Responsibilities**:

- Install and assemble piping systems according to blueprints and specifications
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or machines
- Weld or solder pipes and fittings together to create secure connections
- Perform pressure tests to ensure proper functionality of piping systems
- Inspect and repair existing piping systems as needed
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and HVAC technicians, to complete projects
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

**YOUR Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Pipefitter/Steamfitter required
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Basic math skills for performing calculations related to pipe measurements and angles
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to pipefitting
- Familiarity with welding techniques for joining pipes
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installations or repairs

**YOUR Compensation**:

- **$30-$35/hr depending on experience**
