Working from a central communications centre, this position supports the accurate and efficient communication of emergencies and non-emergencies information and situations for all of St. Joseph's Health Care London by monitoring and receiving notification of alarms, and activating the appropriate level of internal and external response and resources.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or recognized equivalent by the Province of Ontario
- Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment
- Demonstrated ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
- Ability to follow and adapt processes to emergency situations
- Strong computer skills to operate multiple software platforms, such as Excel, Resolver Perspective Dispatch & CCTV systems experience
- Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with a strong customer focus to assist both internal and external customers
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently with mínimal supervision

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Proficiency in French would be an asset.
- Completion of an Emergency Telecommunications certificate or equivalent in experience with monitoring alarms and/or dispatch

**Immunization Requirements**
- Provide documentation you have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine (primary series, boosters and/or XBB) OR one dose of XBB vaccine at least 14 days prior to the start date.
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox)
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
