Tourism Instructor

St. Lawrence College, a public community college in Kingston, Ontario, has licensed parts of its curriculum to Alpha College to deliver programs in Toronto to international students. Alpha College is seeking an experienced and motivated professional who shares our commitment to quality and student success.

Alpha College is currently seeking instructors to teach in the undergraduate Tourism program for St. Lawrence College in Toronto.

**Areas of focus for teaching**:

- Communications for College
- Customer Service
- Global Issues
- Event Planning

**All of the above listed courses will be delivered in-person at our Scarborough campus (3405 Kennedy Rd). The course duration is 14 consecutive weeks from May 13 until August 17, 2024.**

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism or related field.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in a tourism and hospitality setting, preferably at a management level.
- Industry certifications (i.e. Smart Serve, Safe Food Handlers, TICO) would be an asset.
- At least 2 years’ teaching experience at the post-secondary level are required.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months
