**Role overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage complex photonics components development projects from inception to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that merge internal customer requirements with company goals and coordinate technical personnel during all project phases.
- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
- Oversee acquisition of materials as needed before and during projects by talking with internal customers, team members and managers.
- Implement and manage hybrid project management methodologies throughout the project life cycle.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management in a highly technical field.
- Capacity to stay focused on project end goals while implementation strategies are evolving continuously.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to drive effective project team performance.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in project management.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.

**Aperçu du rôle**

**Responsabilités**
- Diriger et gérer des projets de développement de composants photoniques complexes de l’idéation jusqu’à leur transfert en production.
- Élaborer des plans de projet complets prenant en compte les exigences des clients internes et les objectifs de l'entreprise.
- Coordonner le personnel technique pendant toutes les phases du projet.
- Surveiller l'avancement du projet et faire des rapports détaillés sur les éléments mesurables, tels que les jalons importants et les livrables.
- Effectuer une gestion active des risques pour minimiser les risques du projet.
- Communiquer de manière proactive avec tout le personnel impliqué pour les encourager, identifier les problèmes, trouver des solutions et mettre en œuvre des plans pour améliorer leur efficacité.
- Examiner les modifications proposées sur les plans de projet, rencontrer les parties prenantes pour approuver et mettre en œuvre les changements bénéfiques.
- Superviser l'acquisition de matériel au besoin, avant et pendant les projets en collaboration avec les clients internes, les membres de l'équipe de projet et les gestionnaires.
- Mettre en œuvre et gérer des méthodologies de gestion de projet hybrides tout au long du cycle de vie du projet.
