**As a health and wellness organization, the First Nations Health Authority has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.**

**Position Summary**:
The Manager, Corporate Policy provides leadership and management of end-to-end processes and all activities related to review and implementation of corporate policy development, including processes, policy assessment and best practice, and teamwork and collaboration with department heads. The Manager reviews, recommends and implements new and improved corporate policy development processes. This position acts as a single point of contact and source of truth for all FNHA corporate policies, directives, and procedures, including inventory and calendar development, current state of all FNHA corporate policies, and management and document control. The Manager is responsible for overseeing corporate policy staff and their operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides leadership and manages all processes and implementation of day-to-day corporate policy development, including creating and updating associated documents and systems and supporting communication of policy changes to multiple stakeholders in communities and across FNHA.
- Review policy content and collaborate with other policy leads in other areas to ensure that corporate policies remain congruent with other policy initiatives in Policy, Planning and Transformation and the FNHA as a whole.
- Develops and oversees the implementation of standardized workflow, templates, tools, conventions, operating manuals, and processes for FNHA’s corporate policy functions.
- Oversees the development of corporate policies, directives, and procedures (policy documents) in close collaboration with business owners.
- Plans and leads policy workshops and committees involving a variety of departments.

**Team Management**
- Provides direction and supervision for the Corporate Policy team.
- Manages a team, including selection, coaching, development, performance management, employee relations and all other people management practices.

**Financial Management**
- Develops and manages budgets for the respective functional area, ensuring that all service and program expenditures are maintained within established limits.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- University Degree in a related field plus 8-10 years related experience, including leadership skills and abilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Experience**
- Experience working with First Nations leadership and communities is a strong asset.
- Experience with organizational policy.
- Experience with process analysis and documentation.
- Strong engagement and collaboration background.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality deliverables within established timeframes.
