Paramount Ice is looking to add Skating and Hockey Instructors to our team

This posting is hiring experienced instructors (NCCP or equivalent preferred), or strong skaters with experience working with youth.

**From September 22 - December 22, with further opportunity.**

**North York, ON, M3J 2P7**

**Saturdays 9:45am-10:45am (Learn To Play Hockey), 10:45am-11:45am (Learn To Skate)**

**Sundays 10:45am-11:45am (Learn To Skate)**

**Thornhill, ON, L4J 8X9**

**Sunday 12:40pm-1:30pm (Learn To Skate), 1:40pm-2:30pm (Learn To Skate)**

**Hours of Work**:Evenings and/or weekends. Applicants must be available for the entirety of our 12-week program. We also run a variety of birthday parties, events and private training and need our applicant to be willing to fill in for needs of the business.

**Duties**:

- Deliver engaging and effective instructional lessons to students according to the program plans set out by the Program Manager
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment by connecting with the students and their families
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to enhance student learning
- Maintain accurate records of student grades and progress

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience is preferred (NCCP or equivalent certification).
- Ability to teach basic level skating and/or hockey
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively engage and motivate students
- Patience and understanding when working with diverse learners
