**_ What does the position entail?_**
- _ Maintain weekly project progress tracking and requested project documentation for active projects._
- _ Collect and distribute project performance information to the project team, advising project team of recommended actions based on noted project performance. _
- _Ensure alignment of project records, between corporate accounting software, project management software, and project data locations. _
- _Assist Project Manager in identification of project change orders, communicating requests for change orders to contracts department and advising finance department._
- _ Assist Project Manager when project issues or risks are idenitified, assisting in implementing recommended actions as to reduce risk to overall project performance and success. _
- _Assist Project Manager in the coordination of project activities throughout lifecycle, including the allocation of adequate resources, scheduling, documentation, budget monitoring, and other factors necessary for success._
- _ Assist Project Manager in preparing reports and presentations._
- _ Prepare and maintain electronic and paper project files. _
- _Perform document control functions including internal and external issue and receipt of deliverables._
- _ Maintain project registries that capture stakeholder communication, internally and externally. _
- _Assist with ensuring project activities adhere to quality assurance requirements._
- _ Recommend and assist in implementing new processes, in conjuction with Manager._
- _ Assist Project Manager by identifying invoicing milestones and liase with finance team to prepare invoice. _
- _Assist Project team with scheduling and preparation of project meetings._
- Attend project debriefs in order to identify areas for improvement; make recommendations based on findings.

**_What you will need to be successful?_**
- _ Will hold a minimum qualification of a recognized degree or equivalent experience._
- _ 5-10 years’ experience using Microsoft Project or equivalent. _
- _Will typically have 5-10 years’ experience coordinating projects._
- _ Experience in coordinating complex multi-year projects._
- _ Preferable to hold an external associate Project Management certification, such as PMI, CAPM or Project Management Associate, but not required. _
- _Communicates clearly and can complete work within budget and deadlines. _
- _Willingness to be developed, mentored, or coached by senior staff._

**Competitive Salary Range**: CA $66,000 - $74,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, as outlined in the job description/posting.
