Warehouse Cleaner

We are looking for a **Warehouse Cleaner (Sanitation Technician) **to join our team in FreshPoint Vancouver.

Reporting to the Food Safety Program Manager, the **Warehouse Cleaner (Sanitation Technician)** will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the warehouse and office areas. This includes deep cleaning of equipment, sanitation of office desks, lunch rooms and other employee areas, and garbage disposal and cardboard box management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct deep cleaning procedures on equipment including stainless steel tables, knives and scissors, cutting board, roller tables, conveyor belts, garbage bins and more
- Accurate record keeping of daily duties
- Daily sweeping and mopping of floor areas to ensure a clean work environment
- Remove garbage, compact cardboard boxes from packing and warehouse areas
- Ensure janitorial supply and storage area is clean and well organized
- Handle sanitation chemicals in a safe manner and ensure compliance to Company SOPs
- Maintain, sanitize and clean office areas and lunch rooms
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Job Requirements**:

- Completion of high school diploma
- Previous experience working in sanitation or a janitorial role preferred
- GMP, WHMIS or Sanitation certification an asset
- Good communication skills and ability to read and comprehend Company SOPs, policies and safety requirements
- Self-motivated, organized and ability to work independently and in a team dynamic

**Location**: 1020 Malkin Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6A 3S9. (Accessible to multiple bus lines).

**Available Openings**:

- Must be available to work 4 week day shifts and 1 weekend shift
- Start time: 4pm
- Statutory holiday shifts required
