We are looking to bring on a **Service Sprinkler Fitter** for full-time employment - an installer with experience on commercial and multi-unit residential projects (a strong background working in the industry), and are familiar with completing Tenant Improvements

**Responsibilities**
- Installation, repair, modification & troubleshooting of new & existing water-based sprinkler systems.
- Relocate sprinklers as needed for various tenant improvement work.
- Perform system shut downs & fills unassisted.
- Dry valve replacements.
- Test, troubleshoot and repair backflows.
- Order materials from various suppliers for work being completed
- Operate power tools, machinery including pipe threaders, pipe cutters & groovers.
- Read & interpret blueprints and ensure all work is completed as per building codes & NFPA requirements.
- Ensure sprinkler systems are tested to requirements and inspections are completed.
- Submit applicable forms and reports as per EFP policy
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures set by Escape Fire Protection.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14 & 10.
- Red-Seal Certification as a Sprinkler Fitter
- Valid BC Driver’s License with a clear Driver’s Abstract
- ASTTBC Water-based Sprinkler System Certification
- Experience with fire alarm panels (to be able to put a system on test and reset it)

**Hours of Work**
- Full-Time, Permanent
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Please note that compensation is dependent on experience._
