The Gisborne Group is celebrating our 70 year anniversary and we have full-time permanent job opportunities available for experienced Sprinkler Fitters (Journeyperson and Experienced Apprentice) at our Royal Inlands Hospital Project.

Job Tasks
- Install fire sprinkler systems for residential & commercial projects
- Preparing, joining, supporting piping system
- Read & interpret blueprints, evaluate plans diagrams, specifications, schematics and operational/product manuals
- Braze, cement, thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping systems
- Ensure all work is executed using safe work practices

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 6 months experience installing and servicing sprinkler systems
- Ability to read & understand blueprints
- Excellent organization and time management
- Ability to complete documentation with detail & accuracy
- Knowledge of hand tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift heavy loads (50lbs)

Pay Rate
- Base Hourly Rate - $28.12-$43.26 (depending on experience)
- Total Hourly Journeyperson rate including all additional compensation (details below) example ($43.26 = $52.09/hour)

Additional Compensation
- RRSP - 6% of base wage contributed by Gisborne (no match required)
- Pension - 6% (in addition to RRSP) 4% Gisborne/2% match by employee
- Vacation pay - 10.8% of base wage for each hour worked
- Benefits - Extended Health, Dental, Life, AD & D, STD and LTD, EFAP) premiums paid by Gisborne
- Power Tools - provided by Gisborne
