You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

**How you will contribute**

You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

**What you need to know about this position**:
You will operate the Oakes Pacer equipment for our sandwich cookie products. In this role you will demonstrate ownership for the equipment including performing set ups, maintaining smooth operations, troubleshooting, and performing sanitation and good housekeeping. You will be expected to use production data and product standards to gain insights to adjust the process as necessary to minimize waste and meet production volume targets. During your shift you will complete reports on paper and on the computer. You will also stage the area for the feeding station, lifting bins repeatedly throughout the shift.

**What extra ingredients you will bring**:
You will have a safety-first mindset, demonstrating attention to safety through the observational safety program (BOS & QRP) and follow all Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures for the Oakes Pacer equipment. You will be committed to following GMP’s and quality standards. You will also have mechanical aptitude and a passion for troubleshooting and resolving issues independently or with Maintenance.

**Education / Certifications**:

- Highschool diploma
- 1 year of manufacturing Experience

**Job specific requirements**:

- Ability to lift 20 kg.
- Ability to communicate clearly; verbal and written.

**Work schedule**:

- Continental weekend shift, 12-hour shift on Saturday and Sunday, plus two 8-hour shifts during the week.
