The Molnar Group is a leading family-owned Vancouver real estate development and construction firm with more than 50 years in business.

We are actively seeking two dynamic residential apartment leasing agents for our Rutherford Place project located in North Nanaimo in the Linley Valley neighbourhood backing on Molecey Creek. Rutherford Place is a complex with 3 buildings offering 152 studio, one, two, and three-bedroom rental apartments with a fitness centre, amenity space, and outdoor deck.

As a leasing agent, your duties will include showing rentable units to prospective tenants, conducting administrative tasks, and assisting with the building lease-up. This is a great part-time opportunity for someone who has excellent customer service skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Give tours of open listings
- Determine the needs of potential tenants
- Portray the property and amenities in a positive fashion
- Ensure the property is well-maintained
- Collect and organize important documents and payments

**Qualifications**:

- Enjoy working with people and possess excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written, and the ability to form positive relationships with others
- Strong organization, planning and diplomacy skills to prioritize tasks
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs such as Excel and Word is preferred
- Presentation and sales skills are necessary to market suites to prospective tenants
- Working knowledge of the BC Residential Tenancy Act
- Familiarity with RentSync is an asset
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends

Applicants must be able to legally work in Canada.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-06-01
