**Responsibilities**:
- Use of our electronic medical records (EMR) program (Accuro)
- Scanning, uploading and indexing documents in to EMR
- Schedule patient appointments, both over the telephone and in person
- Welcome and register patients
- Generate and maintain accurate patient files
- Answer telephones and manage requests
- Confirm patient appointments
- Guide patients to exam rooms, sanitize rooms between patients
- Obtain patient height, weight, blood pressure, ECG and temperature as needed
- Set up rooms for procedures such as pap tests, dressing changes and injections as needed
- Other clinical duties as requested
**Qualifications**:
- Medical Office Assistant Diploma / Certificate
- 2 year experience working in a medical office, mandatory
- Medical terminology certificate
- Knowledge in the use of EMR is an asset
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines
- Commitment to client service and confidentiality with a positive and professional approach
- Adaptable to change and willing to learn new tasks on a regular basis
**Compensation**:
Compensation will be based on previous experience and education.
